We spent a good 15 minutes tonight pulling cushions off the chairs and rearranging in his fort.

Crawling Right Up To 11 Months!

Gooood Morning All!
Asher here to give a report on life as a baby at the Plante house.  Life is getting more and more busy around here and I'm keeping Mom and Dad on their toes with my antics!

I've grown up quite a bit since last time I wrote. My favorite things to do right now are:
- Follow my favorite people throughout the house and ask to be picked up. ( that's right I crawl!- that's not news for most of you though)
- Brush my teeth. I grew my first tooth recently and love to brush it. (Poor Mommy is out one toothbrush though- I liked hers so much I carry it all day when I'm home.)
- Climb on...furniture, pillows piles, chairs, walls, drawers, dish washers, piano benches, boxes...
- Open the spice cabinet and shake all the spices up. They make fun noises!
- Chase the ball with Mommy or Daddy and then steal it from them!
- Open and shut doors/containers as well as empty and sometimes fill containers. The louder the sound and more impressive the mess the better :)
- Read Goodnight Moon over and over and help turn the pages (whether they're ready or not)
- Wave hello to my friends and family! I'm always excited to see them!

Things I do not like are:
- Grass and sand- what awful stuff. I really don't understand why anyone would want to sit on that stuff *shiver*
- Carrots
- Swinging

That's about it! Mom and Dad are lucky that I'm so easy going :)

Well that's all from here! Ill catch back up once I make that 12 Month mark- I'm excited for cake and ice cream! YUM!

Grilling

Tonight Asher helped Casey to grill up some brats. When they came in the house Asher had the tongs in one hand and our push bottle opener in the other :) I took him to put him in his high chair to eat- when I tried to take the tongs (which he was licking) out of his hands I got this reaction. He wouldn't part with them without a fit until halfway through dinner and went through great efforts to keep them up to that point! It was a very interesting behavior we'd never seen before...

Multitasking

We still like to read ... It's just that we need to be doing other stuff (like squats) while doing so.

Where's Asher's tongue?

Always lolling out these days!  Usually when he's working really hard at something (like standing or crawling fast!)

How is This Comfortable?

Tried it and don't understand it...

Ready to Rock

With his bells! For a good 20 min tonight he would crawl a few paces, strike this pose and then slam them onto the floor. We just sit back and enjoyed the concert (1st of many I'm sure!)
